Experience You Can Trust

With more than 35 years of experience in the home improvement sector, I have committed myself to empowering homeowners throughout Central Florida.

My journey commenced in 1983 as a handyman in New York City and Staten Island, where I honed my skills painting homes and supporting licensed plumbers and electricians.

In 1986, I made the move to Orlando, Florida, where I began remodeling spaces for private property investors and self-generated clients. Many of these projects involved complete demolition and extensive renovations. During this period, I had the privilege of remodeling over 90 homes.

In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina struck, resulting in 1,833 fatalities and causing approximately $108 billion in damage. This tragedy created a significant demand for experienced professionals like myself to aid in recovery efforts. I joined FEMA as an inspector, visiting properties to document damage and assist homeowners in starting the rebuilding process. This experience was incredibly fulfilling for me.

My career in renovation continued to flourish, and in 2011, I took on a new role as an Interior Designer (PSI) with Lowe's Corporation. I was honored to be recognized as one of the top 5 designers nationwide among over 1,780 participants. Although the program was eventually discontinued due to challenges in finding reliable contractors, I am grateful for the invaluable experience I gained. My responsibilities included helping clients select products, pricing labor and materials, and overseeing projects from start to finish.

In 2017, I joined S&W Kitchens, a well-known remodeling company in Central Florida. Although I was offered a position as an Interior Designer, I opted to serve as a Pricing Coordinator for various reasons. In this role, I focused on pricing labor for the Interior Designers. Unfortunately, in 2019, I suffered a severe car accident on my way to work, which took years for me to fully recover from.

Technically speaking, I am retired, but my passion for helping homeowners remains strong. I possess a wealth of knowledge that I can share with Central Florida residents who may be taken advantage of by dishonest tradesmen and contractors. I am eager to assist families in realizing their dream homes. Acknowledging that home improvement projects can be daunting, I provide personalized guidance tailored to your specific needs. From selecting the right contractor to offering pricing insights and managing your project end-to-end, I am here to ensure a seamless and successful renovation experience.

Experience is irreplaceable when it comes to renovation projects. I am here to ensure that all aspects are thoroughly discussed with the contractor before any project begins. Many tradesmen and contractors overlook the essential practice of protecting high-traffic areas with proper floor protection. Additionally, family members who suffer from allergies may find their conditions aggravated by a remodeling project. It’s crucial for the contractor to prioritize air scrubbers, floor protection, and site isolation; if these elements are not addressed, you may need to reconsider your choice of contractor for the project.
